The show is set during Bruce Wayne's early years of combating organized crime, following his initial period, since the Batman. He gasped his skills with the assistance of his own butler, Alfred Pennyworth. Bruce is introduced into Alfred's goddaughter,'' Tatsu Yamashiro. Tatsu is a martial arts swordsmaster hired to behave as Bruce's bodyguard, but recruited to act as a superhero partner into Batman.
