Neale and Pedro transport freight from Chungking to Calcutta. A murder investigation ensues after the death of their best friend Bill, who was murdered. Bill's fiancee, Virginia, is the first person Neale meets and he is immediately taken in by her charms and suspicions of a larger scheme.
