In the early 1960s, landscape change in and around Paris was being documented in a complex and elegantly produced report. The video addresses difficult questions concerning the meaning and experience of modern landscapes, as well as the enigmatic properties of features such as canals, pylons, and abandoned factories, which are explored in the film.
