1897. In Dead for a Dollar, Max Borlund, a veteran bounty hunter, goes deep into Mexico. There, he meets Joe Cribbens, a professional gambler and outlaw whom he had sent to prison years earlier. Borlund is on a mission to find and bring back Rachel Kidd, the wife of a wealthy businessman in Santa Fe who is being held as a hostage. Max has to make a choice when he finds out that Mrs. Kidd really ran away from an abusive marriage. He can either finish the dishonest job he was hired to do or stand by while ruthless mercenary outlaws and his long-time rival close in...
