After her husband's tragic death Bryony tries to build a new life for herself and her young son, James. Fighting her own despair she fails to observe James has become secretive and withdrawn, spending hours playing out death scenes together with his own toys. When things start to go missing and furniture is crushed when he is confronted by her although James is blamed by Bryony she finds herself facing a real possibility more frightening than every other nightmare. James and she will be separated as her world crashes that unless she can discover a way.
