As children, Antonio and Agostino dreamed of escaping Sicily's little town and living somewhere else. They're both thirty-years-old now and reside in different countries, but they've been estranged for quite some time. As soon as Antonio learns that his childhood home, which has been vacant for some time, is going up for auction, he chooses to leave and reunite with an old acquaintance. Even so, a great deal has happened to them. On a truck trip throughout Europe, they encounter old conflicts and fresh insights.
