Michael is in desperate need of a change in his life, so when he learns about clinical trials for a new anti-depressant, he decides to participate in the trials as a guinea pig, but he doesn't tell his family about it. However, Michael does not stop taking the medication even after the experiment is stopped because of the potentially harmful effects it could have. As a result of Michael's complete loss of control, his suppressed instincts emerge with a ferocity and a level of brutality that no one could have anticipated.
