Jim and Veronica, his daughter, who is a young music teacher at a high school, make an effort to decipher their convoluted history and the mysteries that are connected with each other. As a result of a prank that went terribly wrong, Jim's daughter was wrongfully accused of misusing her position of responsibility over Clive, who was 17 years old. Veronica is adamant, despite this, that she should be punished, but for much more serious offenses from much earlier in her life. Jim's misery starts to interfere with his profession as a food inspector as a result of Veronica's stubbornness, which causes him to feel confused and frustrated. He has a tremendous deal of control over eateries that are run by families and doesn't hesitate to exercise it when necessary.
