Shigeko Maehata who works to get a little editing provider is visited by housewife Toshiko Hagitani one day. Toshiko tells Shigeko that her 12-year-old son Hitoshi may have a special skill to see different people's memories. She pulls out a picture. The picture comes with a girl using a gray colored face lying at a home that has a bat. The picture appears to portray the incident relating to the Doizaki couple. Shigeko determines to do some research, however, Hitoshi dies in an auto crash. The attorney for the Doizaki couple tells their second daughter Seiko that the couple has cut all ties.
