It is based on the comic book character of the same title created by Danny Bilson and Paul DeMeo for television, also created by Len Wein and Carmine Infantino. The series aired on August 29, 1992, and premiered on July 20, 1992. This show is irrelevant to this 2010 Fox television set of the same name based on the Human Goal character.
