Isi and Ossi are diametrically opposed: She is the daughter of a billionaire from Heidelberg, and he is a struggling boxer from nearby Mannheim. However, when Isi meets Ossi, the two quickly realize how much they can benefit from one another: She meets the impoverished boxer in order to irritate her parents into funding a long-desired chef training program in New York. He attempts to defraud his wealthy daughter in order to finance his first professional boxing match. Their intentions quickly devolve into emotional mayhem, calling into question everything they believe about money, profession, and love.
