After Faye and her boyfriend, Vince, successfully rob a mob freelancer, Faye makes the decision to abscond with the loot. Where she hires private-investigator Jack Andrews that is feckless to help pretend her departure she heads to Reno. He pulls the scheme off and puts up Faye using a fresh identity, only to have her skip out on him without even paying. Jack follows her and finds he is not the one that is sole after her. Vince has discovered that she is still living.
