As told to a psychologist: Mr. Peabody, middle aged Bostonian on a break along with his wife in the Caribbean, hears mysterious, wordless singing on an amazing rock in the bay. Fishing in the vicinity, he catches...a mermaid. He falls in love with her and, though she has speech, takes her home. Naturally, his wife will not think that thing in the bathtub is such a thing but a fish. Complications that are predictable follow rather tame manner.
