Two losers Tommy and Gerry, Liverpool cabbies, make an odd arrangement with a local mafia to take their sons to the European Cup Final in Istanbul. An attractive hotel chambermaid, two merciless thieves on the prowl, and a suitcase of counterfeit cash await the couple on their vacation to bond with their sons, which becomes disastrous. In the locker room and on the pitch, things are desperate. Tommy is being kept captive in deep water by Stevie G and the boys in red, seeking to produce the greatest football comeback ever. A miracle is required now, before time runs out. Finally, only faith and Gerry's lucky underpants may get them and the cup home safely.
