Sky High is a supernatural Japanese tv drama show, starring Yumiko Shaku, celebrity and model. It has been popular enough to spawn the 2003 feature film of the same name, also aired from 2003 to 2004, in Japan rush. Both are derived from the Japanese manga, sky high. Shaku stars as Izuko, the Guardian of the Gate to the afterlife. The fundamental premise of this tv show is somewhat similar in concept to the American series, Ghost Whisperer, where the protagonist needs to use her abilities to guide the dead in their journey to the after life by helping them determine the significance or context of their death. However, in Izuko's instance her guidance doesn't necessarily result in a happy finish.
