Jang Su-ro lives in the slums of Korea with his three kids, who had recently been released from prison:963, Dog Nose, and So-and-So. While So-and-loyalty So's to his mob boss and biological family is put to the test when he learns that his family's home will be demolished by the mob's developers, the rest of the family's life is complicated by the arrival of Jang's new girlfriend, Sun-yi, who irritates Dog Nose and attracts the affections of 963.
