Fugitives of the Federation for his or her daring rescue of Spock from the doomed Genesis Planet, Admiral Kirk (William Shatner) and his team begin their travel home to face justice for his or her own actions. But at the mercy, it is found by them as they near Earth. At a desperate attempt to answer the call of this probe, Kirk and his team race back into the twentieth century. However they soon discover the entire world they once knew to become more alien than anything else they have encountered in the far reaches of the galaxy!
