Mi-rae, a middle school loner, lives on the edge of reality and fiction, ridiculed at school and abused at home. The only places she finds peace are in her computer gaming world and in her notebook novel. Mi-rae slowly opens up to her classmates Baek-hap and Tae-yang. Meanwhile, the computer game service is discontinued, and Mi-rae is forced to confront her harsh reality once more.
