Overview:
Team Knight Rider is a television series that was adapted from the Knight Rider brand and broadcast on syndicated television during the years of 1997 and 1998. Rick Copp and David A. Goodman, who are both writers and producers, are responsible for the creation of TKR. The show is based on the original series, which was established by Glen A. Larson, who was also an executive producer. TKR was created by Gil Wadsworth and Scott McAboy, and it was distributed by Universal Domestic Television. The show only aired for a single season, which consisted of 22 one-hour episodes, before it was canceled as a result of low ratings. The plot of the movie focuses on a brand-new, high-tech criminal fighting team that has been put together by the Foundation for Law and Government to follow in the footsteps of the legendary Michael Knight and his supercar KITT. Now, there are five members of the team, and each of them has a digital talking vehicle equivalent. Gone are the days of "one guy making a difference." In the same vein as the original partnership, TKR pursues legendary criminals who act "beyond the law," whether they be spies, assassins, terrorists, or drug dealers. At the very end of the final episode of both the season and the series, Michael Knight made a surprise cameo appearance, however he could only be seen from behind.Released: 1997-10-06
