When ila comes across a young Indigenous woman, barefoot and crying in the rain on the side of a major street, she quickly learns that this young woman, Rosie, has just survived a horrific assault at the hands of her lover. ila decides to bring Rosie home with her, and the two manage the ramifications of this tragic experience throughout the evening.
