The Carol Burnett Show is a variety/sketch comedy television show that airs in the United States of America. The show stars Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence, Lyle Waggoner, and Tim Conway. It was shown on CBS from the 11th of September in 1967 to the 29th of March in1978, running for a total of 278 episodes and having its beginnings in Studio 33 of CBS Television City. It was voted No. 16 on TV Guide's list of the 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time in2002, and in2007, it was named one of Time magazine's "100 Best TV Shows of All Time." The series received a total of 25 prime time Emmy Awards.
