Elgar Enders "runs away" from home at the age of 29. In order to flee, this person purchases a home in a black neighborhood in Brooklyn's Park Slope district. His initial plan is to expel the residents who are black and turn the structure into a fancy apartment. However, Elgar is not one to be constrained by impulses from the past, and soon he has other ideas in his head.
