Larry Donner, a writer with a, teaches a writing workshop at which of his students is frustrated with his mother. When Owen watches a Hitchcock classic which appears to reflect their or her own lifetime, when Larry promises to kill his mom, he decides to place the movie's plot while offering to kill Larry's exwife. Before Larry gets a chance to react to the plan, it appears that Owen has already set things in motion.
